Τα βραβεία Emmy του 2026 ανέδειξαν τους μεγάλους νικητές της τηλεοπτικής χρονιάς, σε μία βραδιά που επιβεβαίωσε τη δυναμική ορισμένων από τις σειρές που συζητήθηκαν περισσότερο τους τελευταίους μήνες. Από το δράμα και την κωμωδία μέχρι τις limited series, οι 78οι Primetime Emmy Awards μοίρασαν τα σημαντικότερα τηλεοπτικά βραβεία, με γνώριμα ονόματα αλλά και νεότερες παραγωγές να βρίσκονται στο επίκεντρο.
Το "The Pitt" αναδείχθηκε νικητής στην κατηγορία Καλύτερης Δραματικής Σειράς, με τον Noah Wyle να κερδίζει παράλληλα το Emmy Α' Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε δραματική σειρά. Στην κωμωδία, το "Widow's Bay" ήταν ένας από τους μεγάλους πρωταγωνιστές της βραδιάς, κατακτώντας το βραβείο Καλύτερης Κωμικής Σειράς αλλά και σημαντικές διακρίσεις στις κατηγορίες ερμηνείας, σεναρίου και σκηνοθεσίας.
Στις γυναικείες ερμηνείες, η Rhea Seehorn επικράτησε στην κατηγορία Α' Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε δραματική σειρά για το "Pluribus", απέναντι, μεταξύ άλλων, στη Zendaya και την Keri Russell, ενώ η Jean Smart συνέχισε την επιτυχημένη πορεία της με το "Hacks", κερδίζοντας το βραβείο Α' Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε κωμική σειρά. Στις limited series, το "DTF St Louis" κατέκτησε την κορυφαία διάκριση της κατηγορίας.
